Hello Friends,

I got message from BSNL Care stating "Dear Customer, Your Broad Band Usage with ID XXXX has reached 80 percent of your Free Usage. Your last transaction was on 18-APR-10".

But my BB usage is only 1.41 GB till now (21 Apr) and still 1.1 GB left (BB Home 500 plan). I use datafox in firefox to check BB usage.

In my recent bill Broadband plan details are:

Bill Plan: BB - Home 500 - GENERAL AREA.

Last month I used little more than 2.5 GB and bill came 500 + 12 rs (taxes extra).

Did BSNL reduced free usage from 2.5 GB to 1.5 GB?

How to check usage from official bsnl website and where can I see my current BSNL plan online?

I tried a lot but not able to go to BB Usage site through official BSNL site.

IF YOU ARE A BB user in Hyderabad,
( guess work from your Id here ! )
you have to register at selfcare portal.
CRM
Then log in with the ID and Password you have selected
and from the menu page select broadband usage check.
Para two :
Google search: NetworX
and use the application to keep track of your usage on hourly/daily/weekly/monthly basis with over quota warning.

Which plan are you on???

500C has 1.5GB limit where as
500C+ has 2.5 limit.

When did you get this connection, because tarriff names are revised from this month.

Looking at your post looks like you are on 500C so you might have reached 80% limit as said by them.

I Live in Anantapur and I use data.bsnl.in to check my usage, but it seems that from the last few months a marquee is shown there that Hyd users must use that selfcare portal from now on to check the usage.

Try contacting your exchange for your portal ID and password. Mind you it's not the same username and password you use to dial your connection, both are different.

Only users on NIB-I have same user id and pass for both.
If your ip is 117.xxx.xxx.xxx then your portal ID is different from your dial up ID

Here I exported my uses to excel but I got the file in xml format which I find difficult to read. Please help.
