Thread: extending wifi of bsnl

hi,

i have bsnl broadband with WA1003A modem its wifi range is less.
i need more wifi range should i consider using hub or a router?
and what kind of settings or any other problem i could face installing those devices.

Your WIFI range will not be improved by using
hub or switches, which are meant for adding more systems with cable ( Rj45)

To extend the range of the Wifi router
position it at a higher height.
What is the radius ( say 40 feet ) of the area you need wifi reception.
(*conditions apply)
When you share a single Broadband connection with different sytems, the speed of Internet browsing reduces.
