Default see what bsnl has done?

    Hi dear friends,

Recently I did post that I had issues with my internet service and was even

doubtful about the modem I am using. I have been using d-link modem, 502t

from the past 3 years, now, recently when I had an issue with internet, bsnl

people came and all they said was there is problem with my modem. I also

thought it is so, and also have reset my modem, but i couldnt remember the

configuration, so, just changed only the location in configuration settings

and let the rest of the configuration so,

and what i did was I submitted a letter in bsnl exchange that i will go for

a new modem purchase which is type-1, costing 1000 rs. see my foolishness.

right after that, with the same settings in my modem the next day i got my

internet connection, the technical person who came also couldnt configure

my d-link modem, and so with this doubt, have gone for purchase of a new modem.

tell me friends, have i done some mistake, today when i got the net connection

i felt like i am spending 1000 rs. unnecesarily, however on the other hand

feel that, anyways, this modem the previous one is 3 years old and no one

knows its configuration, so feeling ok one side. as someone has said, i also

bought a kaspersky anti-virus for my pc.

did i make a mistake by spending without giving time for my thought?

    please help me.

    geeta

    Default

Opt for rental basis the Bsnl modem type1.
or tell them that since you are buying a laptop you need a type 2 with WIFI ( also on rental basis)
Rs 40 ?PM or Rs 80/PM
Any deposit they take can be adjusted later.
( Mention modem/model/make /number of type I if purchased now and working )

    Para two:
From your post, unable to decide at what level we can try to retrieve the DSL502T
    Beginner
    step by step
    with screen shots etc.
Anyway we can try to revive the dsl502T

VPI VCI 0 35 for BSNL.

How do you connect to Internet ?
Using a dialer and enter UserId and PW
or get connected to Interent as soons as system and modem , are switched on ?
    feedback.
