Tcp Optimizer from speedguide.net.
What is your tariff Plan and speed ?
test speed here for check later after tweaks.
Airtel
or speedtest.net server say Mumbai.
1. Tuneup Utilities
2. TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net
3. Try Open DNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220)
or
4. Try Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4)
5. Port forwarding for torrents.
Mention your modem - model and make. Which plan are you in ?
Thanks guys for your reply...
Modem: MT882
Plan: Home Plan UL 750
I tried both Tuneup Utilities and TCP/IP optimizer and it didn't help...
Any new ideas?
Thanks

Check this link and see your modem settings are Ok. You can use all menu pages except ( wireless )
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...#post208783Use (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference)
Enter the following DNS both in modem and
Network/Lan/properties/TCp/ip/Properties
page.
8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
In the modem
Under Management/maintenence
disable tr_069 client
In DSl page Uncheck adsl2 + and recheck
connection stability.
thanks for responding to my problem, but problem is still persisting.
