    1. Tuneup Utilities

    2. TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net

    3. Try Open DNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220)

    or

    4. Try Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4)

    5. Port forwarding for torrents.

Mention your modem - model and make. Which plan are you in ?

What do you really want , you will only get max. 32 KB/s speed in that plan. If you are not getting this then reply or any other query.

    Your BB speed is OK.

Airtel speed test site needs JAVA.

Check this link and see your modem settings are Ok. You can use all menu pages except ( wireless )

    http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...#post208783Use (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference)

Enter the following DNS both in modem and
    Network/Lan/properties/TCp/ip/Properties
    page.
    8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
    In the modem
    Under Management/maintenence
    disable tr_069 client

In DSl page Uncheck adsl2 + and recheck
    connection stability.
