Thread: Teracom type 2 port forwarding

Hello! M using Teracom type 2 modem. M uing bittorrent for downloading.
Can anyone guide me how to performe port forwarding for same with steps..?
Pleaseeeee!!!

Please confirm you get Under Security these menu items.
Open 192.168.1.1/secur_menu.html


See this website for Bittorrent settings.
Modem settings pages will not tally with yours . use as a guide.

just goto router page/security/port fowarding
click add
dot user-defined->give any name
wan interface->no change
forward to......->ur ip address-192.168.1.xx
protocol type->all
click apply

same type2 teracom modem for me all options locked

for me type2 teracom modem but all options are locked and also when iam strating downloads modem is restarting tell me the way for port forwarding
when i click port forwarding all options are locked

Please enable the firewall first and try to use port forwarding.

What should be entered in the Port Start and Port End fields under External Packet and Forward to Internal Host?

Do i Not have to Enter the Port Range In Protocol/Type?

Open your router . Go to Management/maintenance
Back up or SAVE present settings to say C:/My Documents /Teracom OK.

Now you can try Rules and PFpages /
you should enter ports you need to port forward. start and end can be same or a range.
confirm you are in PPP/PPPoE mode.

its not working I am in Direct mode / PPPOE
and when i go in run command and do ip config my ip add is 192.168.1.2 and in modem page its showing 192.168.1.1 which one to enter , i tried entering both still in utorrent its showing port not open ;( ,,

is there need to restart modem or directly once we add port forwarding it accepts ....
