    Unhappy slow bsnl broadband problem

i recently got bsnl combo plan with 512 kbps bandwidth. the connection was good during first week. i used to download files from rapidshare, hotfile with 50-60 kb/s speeds & websites also opened with good speed. but from 2-3 days speed has decreased & webpages don't open with that much speed. someties the link breaks when i click on website to open it. i use mozilla firefox 3.6 with all optimizations done. i also disclosed my login details for broadband to my friend who also has same bsnl combo plan. i fear maybe he's using my internet with those details, which can be reason of slowdowns. is this possible ??
what should is i do ??? plzzzz help..

Not possible.. Unless he is in close proximity and you are using a wifi mode ( unsecured )
    2. BSNL has some problems due to undersea cable disconnection as reported.
Check speed in local server here.
    Airtel
You may download browser K-meleon as standby browser.

Speed is slow since 2 days due under sea cable repair. May come back to normal in 2-3 days.

undersea cable repairs linking EU, middle east, south and south east asia are undergoing repairs which are officially supposed to finish on the 30th.

Unofficially they won't be fixed until at least May 2nd.

On top of that there is absolutely shitty routing in the US thanks to AT&T.

Also, lines are congested and since India is a 3rd world country and internet is a very low priority service, no one cares is bandwidth suffers like it is now.
