Thread: ATTENTION! BSNL broadband users!

Bsnl broadband is providing fast connections. But sometimes you may feel you are getting less speed than the deserved speed or you may recieve huge bill even though you hadn't exceeded your limit. WHATS WRONG.!
YOU HAVE JUST BEEN THE VICTIM OF HACKERS.
But there is a solution to these.

1.Check whether port binding is implemented on your system or not. If not contact the person who manages your internet and implement it.

2.Change the default password of your router i.e., admin or password.

3.You use windows firewall on your system and think you are safe. But actually windows firewall protects your system not the internet. You must on the firewall in your router, which is by logging onto 192.168.1.1.

4. change your default broadband password frequently .You can change it once a week.


So now there you go, safe from hackers. Do comment on my post. If you want you can shout at me!
