Cool [UL750+] BSNL returning to 256?

Hey all... Nice to join this forum and I'm glad I've joined here so i can share my views.

A few days back... when i noticed my internet connection's speed went double, i was really surprised. My plan is UL 750+. But since yesterday my speed resumed back to 30 KB/s. Did anybody experience the same?

I don't get the point of the BSNL: to increase the speed twice and suddenly change it. Is that the double speed some kind of marketing strategy or simply to pull new customers?

This speed slowdown you are suffering is due to the underwater sea cable repair that is going on. Most of the BSNL broadband users are suffering from this.

You will surely get the 256kbps(32KBps) after the repair is complete(because by then BSNL would have shifted its speed back to the same old speed). We all are also facing the same problem.

Yes t will return to 32kbps. But permanent double speed is nowhere near the horizon. It is just a rumour. I had confirmed this from the BSNL divisional officer.

I know that the "double speed thing" is just a promotional method to attract new customers and i definitely know that they're not gonna introduce 512 kbps plan.
