Thread: Broadband frequently disconnecting

bsnl BB connection is frequently getting disconnected. help me to solve this problem

Yup I am having the same problem with my bsnl bb since this morning. Don't know the exact cause. might be due to server load or can be the result of undersea cable repairing.

i have this problem form last few days

I am having this problem specially in the morning(during the free usage 2 to 8 am).it works fine rest of the day.Can't download big files from non resumeble links.What to do?
Suffering with fluctuating SNR,specially in the morning.Connected Standard is also keeps changing ADSL2,READSL2. I am totally confused.

Mention modem/model/make/number.
Post screenshot ( jpg picture) as
annexure here of modem page showing MOD mode selected ( Probably AUTO ) SNR attn etc.

I am posting my ADSL stat.I have changed my Connected Standard to G.Dmt,and it's still disconnecting......please help me.Can I have to change DNS setting?if yes,then please tell me how can I do that?

How can I get stable connection?plz help.

First try DNS change in computer.
Start nETWORK LAN
properties
Network settings page
select TCp/Ip
properties
Under DNS
enter
8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220
apply save.
.
If you can you enter same in modem also.
test . Your modem settings are otherwise good. (SNR ATTN etc)

Under Tools there is an option to save/back up present settings.
Save to say C:/My documents /C2110 settings.

Feedback:
Start RUN type cmd Ok
New window
type ipconfig /all
copy/paste data here.

Thanks a lot,I think my problem solved! net didn't disconnect since this morning(around 4 hours) after I made the DNS change.Also showing stable SNR (UP)around 36 to 37 db,it's not fluctuating anymore.Thanks again its working fine now.

But currently getting only 1.42 Mbps speed,any idea how to increase it?

You must be satisfied with that speed I am getting around 256-512kbps speed and I'm satisfied with it. what the hell is wrong with you.......................

I used to get 1.7 to 1.8 Mbps speed only few weeks back.Certainly the speed has dropped,just want to know if I can do it something to boost up the speed, that's all.@ HACKdown R U from kolkata?

To boost up the speed u can download "speed connect" software....
