    Default Can a router be used to receive

    Usually a router is used to throw away , disburse the internet , network connection to other users, over a big space, my question is there anything available to boost the wifi network receiving strength of laptops, wherein they have built in wifi network cards,

    Mention details of your present
    set up, and the radius of area to be covered and the height where you would need
    Wifi connection from the base wifi router.
    your Budget for your requirement/s.

    I think you will have to go for external, PCMCIA or USB card if you are not happy with the internal/Inbuilt Wireless adapter of your laptop.
