Thread: can we use connect modem in Bsnl

Can somebody pls guide that can we use connect modem in Bsnl connection.
If yes how should we configure it???
What will be the expenses if we opt Bsnl 500 Plan and use connect modem????

Modem is Primatel
Model No. P100

Connect Modem is Primatel Model No. P100
Mention modem model/make number.
if it is a cable modem cannot use it in BSNL ADSL BB connection.
Modem rent in BSNL Rs 40 /
Update : connect modem is Telephone line based and rental Rs 100/P.M for router.
if you had purchased ,it can be used in BSNL BB.

For BSNl VPI/VCI 0 and 35.
DNS use open dns 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 or
Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Rest settings same.
UserID/PW as given by BSNL for dialer ("bridged")
for entering in wan page PPP/PPPoE
"always On" mode.

How to remove firewall in Connect Orimatel Model No. P100 mode.
I am using it in always on mode.
Please assist me.

Are you using this unit in BSNL Broadband ??
Can you access the menu pages ?

Check in menu pages firewall enabled or not .
