Default same speed even after usage limit

hi. i have ULF 900 plan. the speed is 512 kbps till 8 gb. and 256 beyond that. i have crossed 8 gb. now my usage is around 11 gb. both upload and download. but my speed is still the same. no 256 kbps. thats good isnt it?? anyway how does the speed change back to 256 kbps after 8 gb? is it all computer controlled or do the engineers do the work???

    You got lucky.

The speed change should have been automatic. However, it appears that in your case it's manual.

Luck for sure. Just to confirm check whether your plan is UL 1350 +. May be some error from BSNL and they changed the plan as UL 1350+. You can check it under post paid orders in data.bsnl.in.

data.bsnl.in > First page > post paid orders. If you are using self care portal, browse through the pages.

If this is the first month of your new telephone connection then I think in BSNL the usage is unlimited at the highest speed for unlimited plans. But anyway please confirm with local customer care.
