Thread: Teracom Type I modem usb driver

Dear Friends,

I have taken BSNL broadband connection. They have supplied me with a teracom type I modem for which they haven't given me the installation CD. Can anybody please help me by telling me where can I download it. Since I don't have LAN card in my PC I have to use the USB port. Please help me. I could not find the drivers in the teracom website. If anyone is having it, would you please upload it for me? i shall be much grateful.

Option 1;
You could send email to the company after filling up the form.
Option 2 :
This modem is similar ( less WIFI) to Bsnl Modem siemensC2110 check BSN Calcutta web site.
if working please give feedback.
download the driver to say C:/My Documents/ c2110 usb driver
Then restart system and connect Usb cable from USB port to computer
Let system detect new Hardware.
Ask for driver/s
Install from above location.
if security warning given Ignore
If failure System may crash "Blue screen of death"
Restart computer !!!!!>

Teracom :: ADSL Modem

Dear friends,

Thank you so much for your support. But the problem is that, I can't install the driver in Vista. Whenever I want to install it the system asks for a restart. I reboot the system, and again the same thing happens. Looks like this has gone into some kind of loop! Please help.

Please uninstall the drivers totally.
Remove the Usb port cable.
Download the drivers again and save it to say
C:// My Documents/ teracom usb drivers
Restart the system with USB port connected to Teracom.
Let VISTA detect new Hardware.
Ask for drivers.
Get message about certificate from windows.
Install Drivers from above location.
May succeed or computer may crash. "BOD"
send report to company and ask for correct drivers.
Give feed back here please.

I have tested the USB driver with Win XP (On Teracom Type - cpe), its working ok.

I have followed the following procedure:
1. Uninstall if you have allready installed USB Driver
2. Reboot the Windows
3. Now install the Driver, without connecting the cable.
4. When it ask for CPE, connect it then it will automatically detect and installl the required drivers.
5. Check that USB driver LAN Connection is on Auto Mode and then try to ping "ping 192.168.1.1 -t"

usual default address for modem USB port is 192.168.1.2

or confirm the source for the USB drivers
( c2110 usb drivers from calcutta telephones web site ????) .

I was tying to upload the same on website given by you, its looking there was some issue. I will upload and give u the path.

I have got the same from CD, coming with CPE.
Please browse the CD (Not run, otherwise Motive application will run) and go in cpe-dat -> Teracom folder, here you can find the USB Driver for Windows.

You could try the USB driver of C2110
post, if any error message.
Since it is USB drivers , if rejected can be uninstalled from system /.
Teracom web site does not list any USB drivers. will send email to them later.
