No way to clear the confusion. Only wait and watch is possible.

This Is Just Not Right. You Should File A Case Against Bsnl Because Of Misleading You.The Customer Pays Rs1350 Monthly And Gets The Same Bandwith And Is Charged Same.As That Of Rs750.See This No Difference Only Charged Extra Why?

I think "wait and watch" is not quite an option if BSNL cheats us of 600 Rs. per month. We pay Rs.1,350 and could have exactly the same of what we get for Rs. 750! Imagine how many customers are paying too much!!! and how much profit it is for BSNL. I am going to write to the General Manager of the local BSNL office here and will attach

Source: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd- News (above mentioned link by Dilip). There is is clearly written that "Upgradation of bandwidth (Download speed) and revision of nomenclature in respect of BB Home Combo 1350 has to be applied as follows:

from BB Home Combo UL 1350 with 512 Kbps
to BB Home Combo ULF 1350 with 2 Mbps upto 15 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 15 GB.
    "
It is also written that "these instructions have immediate effect" and it is dated 02.06.2010.

Where most of us probably were mislead is that beginning of July we were given faster DL speeds (according to the info I got from BSNL this was just a promotional scheme) and we thought that this was due to the change of the plan. As it seems BSNL did not make that change as mentioned in above instructions.

I will try to get a refund of 600/month since June until the new plan is applied to my account. That will probably be for 3 Months.

If we all do something about being treated in such an unfair way then we hopefully might change something in the way BSNL will treat their customers i future.

That is a great future. We need not have to wait for local exchange to deal with it. Hope it will work just as fine as manual application. Can't rep. Need to spread some. Will do it later.
