Default No pages from google is opening, Kolkata BSNL.

I'm from Kolkata and have a BSNL Home 500 plan subscriber.

From yesterday I cannot open any pages from Google franchise.
i.e. Google.com, google maps, gmail, orkut, youtube, etc. In firefox i'm getting server not found error!

Anybody is facing this problem here?

    open tinyurl.com
    enter address there.
try the short address again in browser.
    feedback.
    In
Chennai/AirtelISP , all Google pages open ok Now.

or enter Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
( instead of Opendns or BSNL DNS)

Tested and confirmed: All Google pages are opening.

Location: Kolkata; Connection: BSNL 500 C+

Probable solution: Reset the browser to default settings.

    Feedback.

    Try Open DNS

    Or Google DNS

    8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

    Clear browser cache and try

    Start > run >cmd > ipconfig/ flushdns

    Start > run > cmd > ipconfig/ renewdns

One user reported his Firewall program was blocking some web sites.
Can you use a "Proxy' server and try.
Or change MTU value ( if found ) in modem to 1492 or still lower in multiples of 8.

    1. Try Opera Turbo.

    2. Disable your firewall and check.

    3. Clear browser cache and try.

    4. Try another browser.
