    Post BSNL VS Airtel

BSNL and Airtel are well Known service providers in Mobile Communication and in wireless and wired Broadband service...
I am an user of BSNL landline and Broadband user for nearly 10years ( 2years only am using the Broadband service ). But am not an user of Airtel as i used their mobile communication service for 4years that too i changed because of their childish move of charging money for Talking to their customer care..
    Lets come to the Topic..

Pros and Cons of BSNL service.
Applying an Broadband or an land-line connection takes nearly 15days or above and if they still doesn't appear we have to have an talk with the Near by BSNL Exchange office. They work like an Turtle and they use an Old Telephone cable and make an mess in the wiring etc.. Sometimes i have seen them drunk and we can smell them easily. The workers use to look like very aged persons and they ask for some 100rs to 200rs for installing an Land-line..
The Land-line wont get active at the time they have installed and it will another one day to get an Number and an working Telephone line...
We can never expect an line drop from the BSNL, it may rarely happen like when there is an line cut or some technical problem

The most Special thing that i like from the BSNL service is that they wont cut our Broadband or the land-line connection even though the bill has come and have not paid above 15days from the day we go the bill..
If that 15days have been passed the line will be cut off, but they wont send their people of collecting the Bill or make any phone call like Airtel use to do..
Their Billing process is the worst process you all ever known. They have an separate department for Land-line bills and Broadband bills, If an user has an Land Line and Broadband connection and if he pays the bill, the land-line will be activated with in evening and nearly 3days it will take for your bill to reach the BroadBand section..

Pros and Cons Of Airtel service.
Just Register today morning and we can expect them in just a day.. They work unique and install the Land-line at the place were we want, there wont be any mess up in the wires because they use some plastic tubings in wall to cover up wires..
For the Broadband connection we can get the connection working in a day itself and their Broadband Engineers guide us of any trouble shooting and give their personal number for any doubt clarification..
Their workers wont ask for any extra amount the installation day..
They will cut our line exactly the 30th day and if we dont pay our bill for nearly a month our above, they will send their man to collect the bill and if we stop their connection, we have to surrender the modem abd if we dont means they will send some man for collection the modem from us...
Things that impressed me a lot is their Payment method, An machine will be their separately for paying the bill, just press our Bill serial number and insert your 1000rp notes or 500rs inside the provided slot and wolla an payment will come in the other side..
Just come out and Pick up their Hot line Telephone and talk to the person who is available and tell them to activate your line immediately and it will be done in just 10min before we reach our home...

Thanks for going through my Article...

I hear you bro ! Same hear too , not bad as you though . BSNL service really depends on your area . You have decribed everything except the reason to change from BSNL to airtel . Is it that you don't get promised speed ? Airtel is good but charges more than BSNL . But other than customer care airtel is not that good than BSNL . Kinda like on par

Is he on a 512kbps or 2mbps or 4mbps plan with an extreme FUP? In that case, I don't see a reason why he won't get the promised speed.
