    Default The pblm with networx..

frds, as per ur advices i downloaded networx and installed it and am using it for the past 5 days. But i noticed that if iam using the net starting from 7 30 in the morning and continously going upto some 9 00 then it isnt counted into the usage details as i had given it not to count the data b/w 2 00 to 800. And also The data usage shown by this software and the log file give in the bsnl portal differs a lot. So, pls help i am not sure which is accurate.

Accurate or not, broadband bill is calculated according to on BSNL portal. The software is to give a basic idea of the bandwidth usage and they will differ no matter which software you use.

Did you select the correct Network Adapter and deselect the others ?

Is this how you set it to ignore NU time usage ?

You can also download Shaplus meters (two)for comparison.

Do you use any laptop in wifi mode /?
    7.
    Do you have VOIP connection?

Para two : Keep NetWorx as resident program full metering H24 for a day and then compare with BSNL readings.

The error margin of these programs is +/- 50 MB. You may expect some deviation from the portal values. Make sure that you are following portal values as it will be used for billing. Use an alternate bandwidth meter. I use both Shaplus and Bitmeter. Shaplus is known to be more accurate.

If you are using Networx and disable it during NU time, manually restart the connection after 8.00 am. We have to do it anyways for BSNL.
