Thread: 750 plan confusion in hyderabad

since bsnl is offering 256 Kbps for 625 pm in AP i decided to downgrade the plan from 750 this is where the confusion starts. I called 1500 and asked them for a plan change, the lady said they were unable to downgrade my plan as it was giving some error and to approach local bsnl office. When i go there i was told BSNL is offering 512 Kbps for 900 Rs...so I thought of applying for that. But another person there told me that BSNL upgraded the speed for 750 to 512 and i should be getting it . I did get the promotional 512 for about 2 weeks and now its back to 256 Kbps. He said it was in effect from 1st May and i should be having 512 Kbs now. So i come back and call customer service again and the lady confirmed that the plan has been upgraded since there has to be a difference between 750 and 625. Anyone in Hyderabad face the same situation?

Hi im also in same 750+ Plan in hyderabad. That Prmotional Speed of 512kbps was only till MAY 1. After May 1 Its now back to normal speeds. About that 625 Plan its just like Unlimited The Differnce is in Free Calls and Free E-mail IDs/Space Available.

vengeance i know ..but at the exchange they said 750+ plan users will get 512 kbps from now on. I just talked to customer service and they said they are updating,they had just recieved a notification to that effect. good news for 750 + users i guess..

oh wow.. I never knew about it. I usually check the BSNL site for such changes but nothing was mentioned there even now. But it wuld be nice of BSNL to make the speeds to 512kbps ...

I got the SMS about the 625 plan too

No change in Speeds everyone... i called the Customer Care and they told no such changes and nothin was informed to them or anyone...

vengance when did you call? The customer service told me when i called 1500..and even vijaynagar colony bsnl office person told the same.

I called Yesterday just before i posted it and even now before posting bro.. They ( CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE ) tell that they dint get any such info .. and even in their website nuthin is updated till now nor my speed is 512kbps it is still the 256kbps..

confusion with bsnl as usual...have u opted for the 625 plan? i guess best thing is to change plan and wait for official announcement...
