Thread: dsl light keeps blinking

hi, m using type 2 teracom modem.. I hv one prob , my DSL light keeps blinking nd this starts only in the evening at around 6 and then continues like this till next day morning at 9.00 . Aftr that it works fine.. Plz can any 1 tel me what could be the reason for this. Below is foll info about dsl ..

Call the BSNL CC and get lineman to check your line for High resistance joints/Oxidization/Black contacts etc.
This value should be preferably below say
25 dB.

Please investigate line conditions.
Attn should reduce at least to less than 30 dB.
Line Attentuation(Downstream): 55.5 dB
Line Attentuation(Upstream): 27.5 dB

Seems Post does not go for moderation with BSNL Dataone connection. earlier I was using
Airtel ISP.

The DSL light keeps blinking because there are errors in your line!

i too was facing this problem.the lineman came and checked the line and there were errors.He fixed it!You just call your lineman!

may be its because your line is too busy!

You called lineman??Also book a complain in BSNL's diary.

Nw the line man made different connection, and now m not getting any noise from phone, but still my Line Attentuation(Downstream) is 63.5 dB and SNR also is below 10(8.25). Now what to do?
