My line is frequently dropping even the Broadband some times do not connect properly only multiple refreshes it connects. Is there any problem with Attenuation, SNR etc., How to request such test done on my line?

Check in your modem under
Statistics ADSL.
SNR and Line Attenuation values are displayed in (one of) the modem status pages.
This thread should help in your analysis: SNR Margin and Line Attenuation - What do they mean?
This thread should help in how to deal with BSNL in a nice way and get things done (in case there are line problems): My interactions with BSNL

well @ moderator.
Your interactions thread would be helpful to him in Check line errors how?
How about ping test at pingtest.net? My connection is rated 'D'. Is it acceptable rate for my ISP? Should I complain about the connection.

What I meant (and perhaps this was not clear; apologies BTW) was,
1. Teddy should check SNR/Line Attenuation Values in modem
2. Refer to SNR thread to cross-check values and where he stands.
... and now ...
3. If there are problems with the line, he can revert to BSNL for correcting issues. He can use the second thread as a reference.
Hope this helps.

@Teddy, your SNR Margin and Line attenuation values are well respectable. There is no problem with the line.
A doubt comes to my mind. Do you have a splitter at the first entry point of the outside telephone line into your house? Telephone and Data circuit must be separated at the very first point. All telephones including parallel lines must be after the splitter.

the line comes from directly from pole to main point from there to Splitter and Splitter to Phone (Only one telephone) and Modem.
I don't think they are accurate values. I doubt the Attenuation value. The exchange is about 2-3 km from my point of connection.
