Thread: Airtel Beetel 450BX1 ADSL 2+ router modem settings for BSNL-FULL

Hi All,

I have taken a new BSNL boradband connection and i got the userid and password from BSNL for configuration.

However i had this 450BXI ADSL2+Modem from Beetel which i was using during my old Airtel Broadband connection.

Can anybody tell me how to configure this modem for the BSNL broadband connection please. Since my airtel modem was not quite in use for few months and i changed my my laptop also ..i require step wise installation guide..

PS:assume am extremely newbie to this and have no technical knowledge related to comps.I have to guide my dad on phone to install!!and this is for him,,,couldnt help him out myself on phone....

1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser. ID and Password will be admin. In some cases, password will be password or root.

2. You are now logged into the modem. On the Left Hand Side, you will find an option called " Internet connection" or similar. Click it.

3. You need to change the VPI/VCI values to 0-35. For Airtel it is 0-32.

4. Click next and browse through the pages. You will find an option to enter your ID and password.

5. Click save and reboot the modem. It is ready for use.

MOdem model WA3002_g4 is same as Beetel 450 BX1!

Try in LAN RJ45 mode first
WIFI.
2b. If you want pictures down load FLASH mode application.

Only setting the modem/router/ in wifi mode will not help. Your laptop has also to have a LAN or Wireless Network created.

i configured 450 bxi with the help of essbeb, in pppoe mode dynamic ip, it works well in wirless mode and on desktop also but the router diagnostic in ....main.html shows "ping defaultgatway fail " can any one help to resolve the issue.
