    Info given:
    Windows 7: Ut300r2U
    drivers not found (*for modem]

1.Presume you can access modem menu pages.
2.Have you used "Bridged" or PPPoE mode to connect ?
    3.Go to Diagnostics page
    and report failed components.
    2.
    Computer side :
( as for XP Pro sp3)
    Start Network LAN
    from context menu
    select Status
    Repair. etc.
    3. Start RUN
    type cmd
    Ok
    New window
    type ipconfig /all
    Copy/Paste data here.
Presume you have loaded the Driver/s for the ethernet card
    ( built in for laptop?)
    Feedback.

Are you trying to connect through USB port. Use ethernet port and connect using a RJ 45 cable. In this set up there is no need to install drivers. Windows 7 will automatically detect LAN and will be able to connect to internet.

Yes, that's right. I have been using UT300R2U modem for more than 3 years now. I have used it with XP, Vista, 7 without needing to install a single driver(ethernet connection).

If you are in bridge mode, you will need to create a dialler before you can browse.
