Tried that. No enable/disable option for this one. Selected " Long and short " .

Where can I set Radio on/off ? My model is not Teracom. It is AR 800 V.

    ---
    Got it. Will check now.

    ---
    Update.

Radio on/off was ON by default. Changed it to off. It says " No wireless network is found in the range "

Checked your WIFI sewttings via team viewer.
I think there is no problem with WIFI router.
WLAN in laptop was getting stuck at
    "acquiring Ip address"
in the wlan card what is the entry for network address Tried 192.168.1.1 and now auto assigned 192.168.1.4
confirm laptop worked in WIFI mode with some other wifi router.

Working fine now. I just removed the LAN cable and the acquiring network address vanished. Now able to connect using wifi. Many have written it before. Today is my turn " Essbebe Rocks "

Team viewer code will change when we reboot the system. Not sure why you can't access using IP. I did disabled firewall. Enabling it now. Will send you whenever you need the code. If you need any assistance, please do send the code.

    1. Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig/all of both laptops. Post the values /screen shot.

    2. In the wireless connection properties of both laptops, enable " Obtain IP address automatically ".

    3. Enable DHCP in modem.

    4. Disable all encryption from " Wireless Network " page of modem.

    @kamalaandi

    Try the same solutions!
explain what you tried and could not succeed!

If you have seen the thread you should have given some input about your system, instead of saying same problem etc. There are almost 40 posts with screen shots Ip config /all remote access to verify modem settings. via Team viewer etc
if you modem/router is same as teracom see the link below for user manual patches etc.

Exclamation Screenshots with working settings would HELP!

@meetdilip and @essbebe - Amazing Work, but I think it would be better if screenshots of the working settings can be put up of all necessary updated firmware modem settings pages and not just one or two here and there without the settings done. There seems to be some new tabs and settings in there which can confuse a lot because it is not known as to what needs to be enabled or disabled on those pages. Which mode to select B/G etc.

    Examples:
    Wireless> Advanced
    IGMP snooping Multicast to Unicast:
    NitroXM PiggyBack:
    WMM:
    PMK Caching:
    Mac Address Filter
    Radius Server
DHCP Server page / Server Settings / Advanced Settings

Also posting what a final working ipconfig /all page should look like for PC and/or Laptop would be beneficial.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Michael

BTW most of the time IF there is an issue, please STRESS and tell them to CHECK THE LINE before racking your brains and wasting your time and energy! They will say it is fine, but there will be some screw up at a random junction box! Same time as last year and almost the same duration, the previous incident came to haunt me and as I mentioned again it was the same fault at a junction, whereas it showed up fine at the BSNL office and near my place with the same crackling issue! Now that was solved and firmware was updated, but issues with the WiFi! God Help Us!

UPDATE: I found that the only working way was disabling MAC Filtering Strange because it would have been added security by adding your devices and then switching off ability to view SSID!
