Thread: wireless modem"unable to connect"

hi
i am using bsnl wireless teracom modem.typ2..recently i bought this..my ethernet connection is working properly.but wlan is not getting connect to my lap n mobile too..wenever i connectit detect modem but wen trying to browse it says" unable to connect wpa a uthentication failed" .i had told this problem to bsnl office.they r not even responding...to our problem..crap officers..not at all dedicated to work...my wireless modem wlan port is glowing green,,do help me out pls.is der any settings in mobile??

Ensure in the modem DHCP is enabled.
First: get the laptop working in wifi mode
Then try in Mobile phone
(mention make/model/number .

If you know how to configure the modem, there is small hole in the bottom to reset. Press and hold it for say 30 second when the modem is ON.

Before that, type your external IP in the address bar and check.

Type 192.168.1.1 in the browser > LHS panel > configuration > DHCP server > DHCP server is currently > Enable
