Are you sure that it is working in XP ? Why do you want to access modem page ?

Check your external IP and type in your address bar and check.

If nothing works, reset the modem. There will be a small hole in the back of the modem. While power is ON, insert a refill and hold it pressed for 30 seconds. It will reset to factory settings. Be warned, don't try if you do not know how to configure your modem back to working condition.

It seems that you are not familiar with modem configuration. Don't try it then. CD won't help for modem installation. Please post your modem - model and make.

You should be able to access the modem if you type 192.168.1.1 in the browser. If it is not working, just type external IP in the address bar instead of 192.168.1.1 and check.

Another method is to reset the modem using the method I mentioned above. But it will reset your modem to factory setting. If given model no, I can check whether there is any tutorial for configuring your modem so that you can reset it without any trouble.

@meetdilip you are right the member should mention the model/make as without model number the further suggestions may not be carried forward

As said above by meetdilip that try resetting the router,as it resets the modem's ip address but be aware that it would restore the modem to the factory settings!!

Keep the modem ON while taking the screen shot. As mentioned, change the values according to the thread.
