    Question Problem with Huawei MT841

I have a Huawei Smartax MT841 which I am using for couple of years now. Off-late it is behaving very strangely, it so happens that whenever modem is restarted with PCMIA card in the modem slot the modem would keep rebooting endlessly. However if I remove the card and boot it with LAN cable connected then the modem would work normally. Now the interesting thing is if I log on to the Modems' index page (using 192.168.1.1) and press save all button, with PCMIA card in the modem slot then, at times it would boot just fine. However this does not happens always.
Few things I would like to add are
    1. I have never updated my firmware, as I reckon it cannot be a firmware issue (as modem does boots up at times)
    2. This is always happens after the restoration of power (as modem is connected to inverter and it restarts when power is restored.
    3. When I try to hard reset my modem using reset button, it doesn't changes anything, i.e; it doesn't resets modem.
    4. I read in one of the posts somewhere that it could be because of the condenser of the power supply (12V DC). However on changing the power supply the issue still persists.
Can anyone help me in this respect?

If you don't need WIFI from the modem/router,
to use laptop in WIFI mode without any cable connection ( RJ45) , need not use the card.
Upload as screen shot Jpg picture shot the summary page, at say tinypic.com and give the link here. ( as hxxp://xxxxxx)
Or use the Annexure option here.
Mod mode if GDMT may result in a stable connection.
To save all settings go to Management/Maintenance and CLICK the SAVE Reboot button there.
Wait for two or three minutes.

Thanks for your prompt reply, it is much appreciated.

I am sorry but I am not able to understand what do you mean by this, I do need WIFI from the modem/router, but I am not able to do it since modem won't boot with WIFI Card in the modem. I am not using PCMIA card in my laptop. For the sake of further clarification the Huawei MT841 router needs PCMIA card inserted in the slot provided in the modem. As for the RJ45 cable, I am using it since I am not able to use my modem in WIFI mode. However the modem works fine when PCMIA card is removed from the slot and modem is rebooted.

Can you please clarify what information is actually required, however I am adding some information I hope it is of some use.

1.Do you use a Laptop with WLAN card incorporated? or having a slot to insert the same ? To test WIFI function this is needed.
IGNORE: you don't have the card.
    or
2.Having a Desktop with a PCI WLAN card
(ethernet card ) with an antenna )..... IGNORE. (
    Or

    3
You need WIFI from Mt 841 to access Internet in a mobile phone>? ( model Make?)
    4.
Did you check the MP BSNL site link given. whether settings for wifi were correct.
The ssid should appear either in laptop wifi network or Mobile phone wifi menu page.

    5. Diagnostics page:
    (a) test without wireless card. ( of modem)
    (b) with wifi card.
    What is the difference ?
    Para two ;
    Your summary data is OK.
You cannot have LAN and WIFI mode at the same time to a SINGLE computer. Disconnect RJ45 ( Not needed as wifi disabled /not available in laptop )

Para three : In modem go to maintenance or Management Here Click SAVE REBOOT
wait for two minutes. all settings will be saved.
