Unhappy Whats Wrong with the ut300r2u

Currently i am using Ut300r2u modem with BSNL 750ul+ plan and all the connection everything works fine, my internet works and i get the max speed and all the ports are opened etc...
Now the Problem is that while hosting a game..
I use to play call of duty 4 online without any problem and i use to connect to any cracked servers around the web and everything works as it has to...
Last week as i was requested by some players to join their clan, i was given the work of training new recruit for our clan...
As i decided to create my own server and train our clan members, i created a server and the server got hosted, but i used PPPoe connection while hosting and in the game it showed up internel IP that is 192.168.1.2 ( is entered in NAT/DMZ host this ip and all ports were opened) and my clan members were not able to connect to my server...
Then without changing my server settings or disabling firewall and antivirus, i simply changed the connection from PPPoe to Bridge mode and i ran again the server and shockingly the game showed up my External ip that is 117***** and we played nearly 2hr without a problem..

I want to know why is it so, as you may say Ports will be automatically opened in Bridge mode but the same ports are also opened in PPPoe mode...

Please can anyone clear my Problem...
am trying it nearly 1yr to make it work in PPPOe mode...

to work in pppoe mode just enter your internal ip address in dmz host ip address column in nat dmz host advance settings in your modem page

I am sorry I didn't properly read your question thanks for pointing out

And public IP will be assigned when you are online only and it will be assigned to your computer in bridge mode and to your router in pppoe mode. so, When you start your server when you aren't online apparently it will show only your private ip.

As you said i started the server in PPPoe mode and i launched the server and joined the game and still it shows 192.168.1.2:28960 ip only on the server info and when i give the ip to my friends also its not working too..
in Bridge mode no problem atall..

In pppoe mode, open your modem web management interface i.e. 192.168.1.1 and in device info, wan tab, you will have your public ip give this ip to your friends. with 192.168.1.2 on your routers dmz host you will be able to connect. Please, give this a try and post the reply.

Try with some other modem having
    in Advanced options
    NAT
    Virtual Server
    Port triggering
also DMZ ( not working for you in PPPoE Always on Mode )
BSNl supplied New models do not have these menu items.

1.As it is a bsnl site , report will be , what you have mentioned. ( less virtual server etc )
