Thread: speed doubled in my750 plan-since 17:45 may 31

i was using 256 kbps my connection and suddenly the speed doubled and it stayed that way.hopefully it stays that way for ever.hopefully its not promotional like 1 month ago when the speeds of unlimited connection were doubled for 1 month.
i am in haryana panipat circle.any body else notice any difference?

Go to speedtest.net, perform a speed test, post the forum link here.

Go to data.bsnl.in, under postpaid orders, enter the telephone no in the prescribed format and hit " search order ". Check you current plan, status and effective date. Make sure that they have not changed your plan without your consent.

Also check " Chargeable units excluding night unlimited " in the usage details and check whether it is still zero for day time usage.

If I remember correctly, another member from Kolkata too reported similar phenomena. I think it has something to do with Kolkata circle.

Please mention your location. Just checked BSNL site. No notification about change in speed.

Bangalore... this is what i m getting now for torrents

I am under the 750 UL Plus plan from Chennai. The internet speed has doubled this evening.

Don't depend on BSNL speed test. Try one from speedtest.net.

It seems that my decision to move to ULF 1100 was bad. May be they are updating UL 750.

my friend is also getting double speed...

have been getting double speed in 750 ul plan for 3 hours now.

Was enjoying 2 Mbps all these days. If they double it, will certainly move back to U 750.

I am from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Using 750/- unlimited plan. My speed too got doubled since this evening.

Yeh He is absolutely right the speed is doubled. I am from Mumbai.
