    Default Irresponsible Management

I stay in Hyderabad and have been using BSNL broadband for around 4 years now. For few years I have been having flawless connectivity, but about few months since, I have been having a host of issues like excessive billing, telephone clarity and fluctuation in broadband.

It been 20 days now my phone is dead but internet works on and off with heavy fluctuation and IP changes every couple of minutes and even basic sites like google need reloading few times before I can get to the home page.

I have complained through their 1500 service 10 days ago, now the phone is totally dead so I tried various numbers before giving up and then mailed their top brass, the best part is none of them have even responded to the mail forget getting a resolution.

They wouldnt want to take care of their customers who get them the revenue but want to go on strikes for better pays and perks.

I have included the CMD, AP Nodal officer, Call center head, etc, none of them thought it worthwhile to even respond.

Way to go BSNL, we will keep paying bills and you can get your salaries and strike for more, after all it is tax payers money.

The worst thing is that many of them are given the choise to VRS... still they are not learning..

BSNL guys are not going to understand at all , that the world is very bad today and everyone will eat 'em all..

A written complaint with receipt to Nodal officer and /or appellate authority may help. Address and phone no on the backside of your bill. Talk to them.

Honestly Dileep, I have given up, I havent put in my travails here, their 1500 service, when you call on the advertised 1800 424 number, they ask you to call 1500.

1500 is manned by bored employees who are busy chatting and will not pick the phone, when they do they put you onto a wild geese chase by giving a certain number to call, which may not work and if it does, that person would give you another number and then you are on an endless loop.

I guess it is a neat trick to increase your talk time and then eventually give up on complaining.

I would like to put all these people on another PSU Air India.

check the ALL india ONLINE complaint site given in the link below :
    Bsnl links.
Are you registered in CRM ?
for making phone complaints BB usage check etc ?
It appears in your telephone line there is some fault. Time to check contacts for oxidization, blackening
etc. try new rj11/rj45 cables short.

Thanks essbebe, but I have gone through all that.

There definitely is an issue with my last mile, which is what I have told them whenever the linemen come to fix the telephone, but they simply do not wish to take many efforts to give a lasting solution.

They come fiddle with the unction box on the pole and just go off saying it will be alright now. sometime back there seemed to be a surge through some interference and the cable showed signs of burining and the splitter was rendered useless, the linemen blamed me saying that power had somehow crept and damaged the cable and splitter, all the while they could see that this was not the case. Then they asked me for cable, like I am a store. When I admonished them saying they should come with all the equipment and material they came back after a day with cable and found that the instrument also had taken the impact of the surge and they started blaming me again. I seriously had to give them a piece of my mind and as is their wont they came back with another instrument which looked like it was salvaged from a fire accident and once there was a dial tone they just vanished without informing me or taking a sign off of job completion.

Since yesterday I have still been trying to reach someone to help me in vain.
Guess time has come that I pull the plug after so many years.

An online complaint giving reference to this thread may help. Else try some other ISP.
see link no.5 in Bsnl links.
