Even i am on UL1350 plan , but speed is still 512kbps !!
BSNL management is dumb !! sorry dumbest !!! If they dont upgrade UL1350 plan speed than everyone on this plan will move to UL750 plan . If they keep the UL1350 plan speed same as UL750 plan , then even i will move to UL 750 plan. Who will pay Rs.600 extra for the same speed !!

    The information is somehow right!
Not 100% as the double bandwidth option is available only for the ""KARNATAKA CIRCLES""
    not in """""WHOLE INDIA""""""

Is it permanent ? I think I have a strong reason to move back to UL 750. Will enjoy my 2 Mbps till it crosses 10 GB and apply for UL 750

Will wait some more days to avoid surprises.

Well i just switched to UL 1350 from today , just changed my plan and i really regret , didnt knew this was coming ...
I went to BSNL office today to ask what about UL 1350 , no speed upgradation for this plan ? What dumb person will pay 600Rs. extra for same freaking speed
He said just wait for few more days , you have changed the plan so have to pay this month , just wait and watch , obviously we will come up with something .. if there is no change , change ur plan back to UL 750 from next month

SO lets just wait and have our fingers crossed

Exactly, a friend working with BSNL said they received a circular to this effect yesterday - seems like the 1350 UL customers will receive speeds upto 2 Mbps with a Download Cap and then revert back to 512 Kbps. Am on 1350 UL plan myself and hence keeping fingers crossed for atleast an upgrade to 1 Mbps.

That means FUP in 1350 .. looks fishy

For reference Airtel Turbo 1299 looks a wonderful plan for 1350 bsnl users:

Turbo 1299 plan sounds good. It has lived up to its promise of 512 Kbps by day and 1 Mbps by night (10 PM - 6AM).
Also the unFair Usage Policy limit of 100GB applies only to daytime usage and not to night usage. Since I do most of my torrent downloads at night, this is perfect for me.

for 1350 new speeds ought to be 1mbps and rates 1000... So it ought to be renamed as Home plan 1000 UL

I do not expect much, they might bump up the speed to 1 Mbps - cannot imagine BSNL being so stupid as to lose a fair number of customers by not upgrading the 1350 UL plan - come on BSNL, we are getting laughed at by friends having 750 UL connections patience .....

One of the best moves ever by BSNL... Way to go and now there is a consistent competition among the private players.
