Default Problem in desktop lan connecting to Beetel 450 tc1 for BSNL

    Hi All & Essbebe,

Actually i have bought a new Beetel 450 tc1 to be used with my BSNL broadband connection, however i am encountering problems connecting it to the desktop lan (wired connection), i could connect m laptop to this modem/router in wifi state aswell as wired state but am not able to do this for my desktop.

Earlier i was using UTStarcom's device with model no: UT 300R2U, with this device it was perfectly working fine and i did not encounter any trouble configuring or connecting at all.

My settings as of now are Obtain ip address automatically and obtain DNS server address automatically.

I didn't have to configure any settings for laptop to be connected in wifi or wiredmode except for the basis pppoe settings under 0/35.

The ethernt card keeps on blinking at interval of time{for fraction of time not the regular blinking as in handshaking mode} and the light glows on back panel of desktop and also on the router/modem lan port, a message " NETWORK CABLE UNPLUGGED KEEPS ON DISPLAYING IN STATUS BAR AND IT KEEPS REFRESHING" i mean its contineously trying to access or acquire network address i think.

Tried referring earlier threads but didn' find something specific hence posted a new thread.

Any advise on troubleshooting this problem at earliest would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks and Best regards,
    sacspot.
