Thread: How do I connect Linksys VoIP to BSNL (SmartAX MT841)

I have been BSNL 256 kbps Home500 plan connection with SmartAX MT841

i have to connect Linksys VoIP but i am not able to do it.

The LinkSys VoIP is a modem/router in itself. It needs to be configured just the way you have configured the MT841.

Once that is done, you can use the phone (receiver set) to dial '****' (by defualt but may depend on the model) and setup the IP Addresses and other VoIP requirements.

Once the VoIP paramters are set, you can use the VoIP setup. There may be issues with regards to incoming VoIP calls though. There are some known issues in India for that.

Raja, Does your BSNL connection require user id and password? Could you please tell me how to by-pass it? Are you using PC?
I am trying to connect VOIP without PC using BSNL connection. let me know
