Call customer care and ask them about the upgrade?
Remember that on 1500 no.,you will not get the correct info,1504 may help,It's Mbps not MBPS
It's their wish, they may change to 1Mbps or they may not!!

BSNL has upgraded the plan speed for UL 750; I am sure that they will upgrade speed of Ul 1350 also - otherwise who is going to pay extra 600 (plus tax) for the same speed?
Just have to be patient that's all. If BSNL does not change plan speed, you can switch. In fact you will save some money.

Bro,
Dont worry if they you didnt get the speed this month then they may ask you only 750 as you did not get 1mbps
Dude, I am sure BSNL will either change the billing amount or upgrade 1350 UL customers to a 1 Mbps plan, it only makes sense that way. I am on 1350 UL myself and still get only 512 kbps, besides the 2 Mbps upgrade applies to another plan the ULF plan, I think hence no change for us.
so is it like there is different plan for 1350 UL? something with no fup double speeds?
Not sure dude, there seems to be a 1350 UL (old plan) and 1350 ULF newer plan, the new ULF plan has got upgraded speeds to 2 Mbps, but older 1350 UL still seems to be stuck at 512 kbps. I got friends working with BSNL and they themselves are not sure whether the ULF upgrade applies to the old UL too as well.
I am on the 1350 UL plan and till date have not seen any speed increase, still getting a download speed of about 60-64 Kbps only.
The difference between UL and ULF is that ULF plan has FUP limits.
Stop being a wise-ass dude, this whole Kb/KB distinction is so retro - don't bother making a jackass of yourself trying to explain the intricacies of the upgrade.
Everyone with reading skills know that ULF came with an FUP, however since the last upgrade by BSNL, quite a few of 1350 UL customers have reported an upgrade to 2 Mbps with an FUP while the majority still remain with 512 Kbps (there, the syntax is right). My query was, whether it was a universal implementation by BSNL or not across the UL connections?
It could be that BSNL may be wanting to discontinue the UL 1350 plan. So they are deliberately not updating the plan speed. Users will then automatically switch to UL750 or something else. Just my theory. Don't take this as an official announcement.
Anyone here who's got some friends/relatives in BSNL ??? Can anyone confirm on fate of UL1350 plan (not ULF1350) ? Should we downgrade plan to UL750 or still wait ??
Any updates will be appreciated.![]()
THE SADDEST PART IS JUST COMPARE THE NEW TARIFF PLANS
ESPECIALLY THE 900 ONE WITH 750 ONE
LMAO ROFL LOL
I CANT ADD MORE WORDS TO THIS...!!
muhahaha
UL 750--512 Kbps
UL 900--512 Kbps upto 8 GB, 256 Kbps beyond 8 GB
This is a joke.UL 750--512 Kbps
UL 900--512 Kbps upto 8 GB, 256 Kbps beyond 8 GB
Hi,
I hav also 1350 plan and don't seem to have 2mbps speed up to 15GB just saw this today in tariff anyway who all in 1350/- plan eagerly waiting as i don't want to wait next month also if their is no change in speed there will be waste of 1200 rupees just for waiting that bsnl is going to increase speed sometime in middle of month.
The below is the exact message on the BSNL Website
This info below as Posted on: 02-06-2010
Upgradation of the bandwidth (Download speed) of following Home Unlimited Broadband (Postpaid) Plans and revision of nomenclature in respect of BB Home Combo UL 1350 as indicated below :
The old name of our plan is BB Home Combo UL 1350. ( 512 Kbps )
The new name is BB Home Combo ULF 1350 ( 2 Mbps upto 15 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 15 GB)
Our old plan will be converted soon. What frustrates me is that it takes a quiet long time to get the promotions to happen.
Lets not give up on our BSNL Guys.
Yea man you are correct. So will the upgrade happen for sure.
Before 31st May , there were two 1350 Plans:
1) UL1350 - 512Kbps - No Free Calls
2) UL1350 Plus - 512kbps - Some Free Calls
--------------------------------------------
After 31st May , plans are :
1) UL1350 - 512Kbps - No Free Calls
.:Old BB Plans:.
2)ULF1350 (renamed from UL1350 Plus) - 2Mbps for 15GB , 512Kbps post 15GB - 250 Free Calls
.:Unlimited Home Only:.
--------------------------------------------
So people on OLD UL1350 plan are still getting 512Kbps as the plan never got upgraded. Also people on ULF1350 plan have no good reason to stay on the plan as they will use up 15GB at 2 Mbps in around 2-3 days. So wont make sense paying 600Rs. extra for 2-3 days of better speed internet.
Now the questions are :
1)Is BSNL going to upgrade old UL1350 plan or not ?
2)Does it make any sense to move from UL1350 to ULF1350 to get first 15GB at 2Mbps , or is it better to save Rs600 and get 512Kbps throughout the month?(on UL750 plan)
3)When will BSNL Management get brains ?
---------------------------------------------------
Isn't there any member in the forum who works for BSNL , or has friend/relative in BSNL and can give us some updates on old UL1350 plan?
WOW you people seem to know lot about plans, i really didnt know all of these info. Thanks for letting me know. I know some one working as an Assistant Engineer in BSNL. I will talk to him and get you guys more info is possible.
I spoke to him two days ago when i got this upgrade news on paper and he said these will happen automatically for all unlimited plans but was really not sure.
Thanks again
It is my personal opinion that people of UL1350+ stay on the plan for a month or two - two would be better. See whether there are any upgrades.
If there are no upgrades, people can switch.
I think we have to do something to get the old 1350 UL normal plan upgraded. I think we should send emails and call up Someone in BSNL HQ in Delhi. The concerned person is Mr. S.K. Seth, his phone no. is 011-23734265 and his email is sk_seth@bsnl.co.in.
We have to ask him why the normal 1350 UL plan was not upgraded.
I hope i am not lucky atall in all my life. Never got good things going on and am stuck with BSNL while others pay half the rent that 1350 users do and get the same speed. Not very good.
I raised a request last friday and its still in pending status. I hope they might close that request stating its resolved.
Can we do an online plan change request or will we be migrated.
I hope BSNL doesnot let us people down![]()
It's BSNL,anything is possible at any time!
When bsnl is giving us 64KB/S in 750 rs. then why to go for 1350+??
and ya i would advise:
please stick to 750 for unlimited! As i have visited many news section and observed that bsnl is being blamed for not providin the freebies and good plans!!
May be they feel ashamed and change 512 kbps to 128KB/S in 1350+ without the "FUP"
