    Default BSNL Reluctant

    Hello Everyone,

    Just See This Image :

    See The BSNL 750 Plan's Speed !!
    Image taken from BSNL site itself.... BSNL are very slow and reluctant. They do evrything very slowly. For Ex : When the Speed Change took place their Portal was never updated that there was change in speed of 750 plan
    Note : Now its been Done ... but on that day many customers ( Including ME ) were Clueless of any change in speed until i came here to knoe dat.
    I mean here :
    Code:
    http://bsnl.co.in/service/new_BB/BB_home_only_unlim.htm
    I dono Why they are so Slow in doin stuff.. i knoe that people in such companies are very busy but then too the CUSTOMERS must be well informed of wats happening.... Many in my own Locality dont even knoe that 750 Plan's speed has been increased to 512kbps.
    What are your comments ... Plz speak your mind !!

    brother they are Goverment Workers, they are all above 45yrs old...
    Even they dono the differnce between Kbps and KBps...
    When i got 2mbps speed for 15days, i asked them the doubt when i got the connection, they checked and told you are in 750ul+ only so you wont be charged..
    Then opening a thread in our Forum cleared my doubt that i was given as bonus speed for coustomer who are booking inside March 30th...

    Agreed Mate... How many More days we will be excusing them saying its Government Organization etc etc?? People have to be fast and also evryone must be responsible !! BSNL need to take stern steps to do this otherwise it will be a Big prpblem when other ISP are gettin really good !!

    I agree,Bsnl is a Govt. enterprise but still it provides "Reliable Connectivity" and "Speeds" are never an "Issue",but this fact is also true that it's ""FUP"" is very bad!!
    So everything has "Positive" and "Negative" Effect!

    The service provided by other ISP's maybe a little better than BSNL.....
    But there is one aspect in which BSNL can't be beaten... the price.....

    I don't think there is ISP plan in India that is as popular as the HOME 500......
    No other ISP has been able to roll out such a plan.....

    I would dare say the BSNL broadband owes a lot of success to HOME 500 plan....

    To my knowledge, 90% of home users are using that plan.....

    A few like me shifted to 600 COMBO recently......

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmm(Better Service)

    Can you prove that bsnl is a "Bad" service provider in the terms of the "Bandwidth" Promised to the "User"??

    No..... There may be bandwidth issues in a few cases.....
    Overall I have been very satisfied with BSNL....

    By "little better" I meant the other ISP's may attend to your problems a bit quicker than BSNL(they can't afford to lose a customer )......

    Ya,Bsnl doesn't cares!
    Whether you lodge a complaint or not,it doesn't matter!Go Suck their brain and repeatedly Piss them off until you get your problem solved is the ultimate "Solution" if you ever face a problem

    You can't blame all the BSNL employees like that... There may be a few not heeding to complaints at all......

    I have talked to some of the best people in BSNL..... Both techically sound and very helpfull....

    I guess airtel's 1299 plan with 1mbps unlimited @ night and 512K @ day, where night is more saner [10-6] night's without FUP and day has a wonderful 100G FUP is a much better plan.

    I have got 3 friends who had to switch from 500 night bsnl plan to a different plan [750UL], due to their usage crossing the meagre 2.5 gb limit during the rest 18 hours .. btw current 750UL will let u get 144GB per month [approx], which is probably insane amount to download only [and if u keep uploading ]

    I'm happy with the 2Mbps 600 combo plan.... It's all speed I care, even if I get 1Mbps unlimited for Rs.500, I would stick with 600 combo plan only......

    2Mbps = 650 -700 MB/hr
    1Mbps = 300-350 MB/hr
