Usually I submit a written application (in duplicate). If it works on the phone, then that's good.
You can also do that online. Chennai BSNL website has that feature. Not sure about others.

Paying Rs.1350 for FUP is just shear waste....
1Mbps unlimited would have been a nice take for 1350....![]()
Ya,you are right!
But nothing can be done! All it depends upon the bsnl
@nargisform,go to your nearest telephone exchange and deposit the plan change request there,if you are really far away from exchange, tell them that last time the plan got changed by calling on 1504!

even am planning to change from to this plan.. sick of this U1350.. but still hoping they gonna change the tarriff.. will wait for 5 more days.. when i asked the procedure to change plan they said me to give a letter in bsnl office..
When I had to change from 500C to 600C, I went to the BSNL customer care and filled up the form they gave me. Had the plan changed in 3 days.![]()
I Changed My Plan From Home 1000 To Home UL 1350/- plus And It Took 3 Days. So If Bsnl Wont Revise The Bandwith Of Home UL 1350 I Will Shift To Home 750/-![]()
According to my observations as far as BSNL has been disappointing its customers, I think they will imply an FUP of some 6 to 8GB on UL750 after a fair number of customers have been attracted to it. Then again speed will be dropped to 256kbps.
After this again half of the users will run at ULF1350. If BSNL doesnt want to upgrade its higher monthly rental plans, implying FUP only seems the proper option they have.
I don't think that will happen since it is a postpaid plan. Once they define the terms, they cannot alter it like that.
Ofcourse the 725 plan was altered, only to be better. No one is going to complain if the bandwidth is doubled.
That won't be the case with imposing an FUP limit.
I've Completed My 15GB Limit But I'm Still Getting Speed Of 2Mbps On My ULF 1350
Bsnl Portal Is Down For Godsake I Dont Know. But I'll Confirm THis By Posting Speedtest results ANd My Usage Portals Soon
That is what I have just experienced, and I thought it would be unjust to BSNL if I do not share this positive feeling with fellow forum members.
My 1350 UL Home Combo 2 Mbps~512 Kbps had for some inexplicable reason dropped to 500 Kbps since 1-8-2010. Not only people at BSNL Bhubaneswar changed the faulty "cable pair", they even restored the speed back to 2 Mbps taking up the matter with NIB, Bangalore.
I only wish they would take up the case of all other customers with equal zeal ! If this concern would be widespread among all the personnel of BSNL, one day it could be the No.1 Customer Caring company in the country.
