Hi,

I've a Dell Desktop Pc with Win7 Ultimate 32x os which is connected to a Bsnl Broadband using Nokia Siemens C2110 ADSL Modem via Ethernet port. Recently I bought Macbook Pro 15 with i7 Core Processor, Apple Airport Express & Techcom PCI Wireless Lan Card for my Desktop Pc so now can someone please provide me with step by step instruction of creating a wireless setup as am new to this & never tried anything similar before?

You need to buy a new wireless router from bsnl,
Visit your nearest exchange and tell them that you want the new wireless router,after you buy it,report back for further info

Apple Airport Express that I bought is actually a wireless router & has ethernet port so I'll be connecting my existing modem with it.

You can geta 3 -in 1 modem/router/wifi from BSNL for Rs 1600/= type II
(rental Rs 80/=PM)
or buy netgear unit given below and use it with c2110.
( cost approx Rs 1500/=)

Follow the instructions and give feedback, whether you could succeed in connection Desktop in WIFI mode. ( RJ45 cable to be removed )
Laptop may detect the wifi name you had given.

Update:
Save/backup present settings of C2100 to say C:/My Documents/ C2110 lan ok.
If "AAE" is a wireless router, there should be an Internet or WAN port.
Connect RJ45 from modem c2110 and install "Airport Utility" from CD.

Thanks essbebe but I already bought Apple Airport Express router. @Kadamba : Plz log on to Apple India official website & have a look at the specs of Apple Airport Express. See if you can help me out. Also, the reason why I opt for Airport Express coz its very compact.
