    YES. In your WIFI modem enable DHCp ( usuall in LAN page)
    give a range say 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.10
    Enable UPnP box also if available.
    if you have secured wifi connection any number of wifi can work at the same time
    in range. usually a radius of say about 20 to 30 feet * conditions apply !
    in case of difficulty mention router model/make number here.
    or select from list given below.

    Every ADSL modem or wired/wireless router will have the DHCP option. All you have to do is turn it on (enable it).

    Also for simultaneous use of internet on multiple devices, you must be in PPPoE mode.

    Please read the following:

    Basic Broadband Guide
    and
    SOHO Guide

    The above should explain the concepts.

    @kunal_k66
    Are you using "DIALER" Bridged" mode to connect ?
    ( enter userID/PW in dialer window in computer)
    or
    "Always On" PPP/PPPoE mode ?
    ( enter userId PW in WAn page of router?
    try second option for dhcp menu. still not seen
    Try 192.168.1.1/main.html
    Else
    FW update may be needed.
    Post Device info screen shot.
    Feedback.
    @Just4kix

    That is strange. Perhaps he is not looking at the right menu.

    @ESSBEBE........

    my router type is DNA-A211-i

    let me explain how i usually access my wifi connectivity

    1 --> IN LAPTOP

    while accessing the wifi in my laptop i have to select dialer bridge mode , else it is not getting connected...

    2 --> IN IPOD TOUCH

    while accessing the wifi in my ipod i change the mode to "" ppp over ethernet ""

    so i have to continously switch between bridge mode and pppoe mode

    but as you said earlier that for using wifi simultaneously , i hav to be in pppoe mode and also have to enable my dhcp in 192.168.1.1

    BUT i previously uploaded the screenshot (post number-7) which doesn't have that dhcp option

    now i am uploading the screenshots that u asked for...please tell me what to do...( DO I NEED A SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR MY MODEM ..AND WHERE WILL I GET THAT )

    @just4kix --- thank you for that knowledge..!!!

    PROBLEM
    DHCP option box missing in DNA A211-I

    while accessing the wifi in my ipod i change the mode to "" ppp over ethernet ""
    Stay put!
    1. Now open 192.168.1.1/main.html

    Go to Management and Backup present settings
    to say C:/MY Documents/ IPOD working
    2.
    check the LAN menu page again. for DHCP box.

    3
    .if still "No GO" for Firmware/software updates
    see wa3002-g4 link for software update for DNA A211-I
    three files are listed..
    sw version changes to 3.08.02.IB.02.01_1701_022709 dna A211_I

    I would rather prefer you get assistance from BSNL.
    They may replace the router.

    Para two:
    5.
    In same "Always On" PPP PPPoE mode
    ( userID PW entered in wan page of modem )
    Open in computer
    Start
    network
    show all connections
    Network settings
    LAN and or WLAN
    Properties
    TCP/IP
    properties
    enter 192.168.1.3
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1.1
    DNS
    existing or
    google 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
    Apply save.

    Feedback.

    Para three:
    Click wifi Icon in task bar.
    Select "Show available wifi networks "
    the name you had given will appear.
    feedback.
