    Default some strange problem

i am getting different speeds at different times of the day. Like i get 50kB/s in morning and evening. At night and noon i get 20 kB/s and browsing is very slow. Is it something like someone stealing my bandwidth?

The problem is your upload speed is greater than D/L speed.
    which is unusual.
Save /backup present settings of modem ( from Management Menu)
to say C:/My Documents/ Mt880 upload speed high.
Now check all menu items and see wheteher ANNEX M has been enabled. disable it.
    Check again.
If No improvement RESET modem to factory settings and try again.
MY ISP is not in India.
    Feedback.

First thing, r u getting this speed in torrent? Or in normal download? In torrent speed may vary on number of seeders and quality of torrent. Try downloading anything from
softpedia.com. And for more download speed try something loke internet download manager or Orbit downloader. And speed may vary on the duration of your house from the local BSNL broadcasting center. But in the end, it is BSNL!!!! Anything can happen.

    1.
From summary page post details of
mod mode selected snr attn d/l/ u/lline rate & rate
    2.
Change Mod to GDMT and recheck line rate.
There is no clear answer ( tried Google search )
    3.
Test the modem at a friend's location.
    4.
Seems your system needs check up like AV Antimalware etc.

5.Mention the ethernet card used whether driver/s updated.

6.Tell JTO (BB) of local exchange of the problem. or test modem at exchange.
