Thread: BSNL bill for Hyderabad users

Did any users from Hyderabad receive their BSNL bill for the month of May 2010 yet? Earlier I used to see the bill online by the 6th of every month and since the new selfcare site started, it got pushed to the 10th of every month. But this month there is no sign of a bill and its already the 15th.

My hurry is due to BSNL's wrong billing. In April's bill, they included the usage only until 25th April and the usage from 26th April will be included in May's bill. I used 2300 MB till 25th April and 360 MB from the 26th till the end of the month. So if the billing was proper, I used 100 MB in excess and should have been charged an extra of 50 (plus tax).

But since BSNL did wrong billing, the usage of April will be included in May and almost 260 MB which would have come under the free limit of April will be charged. This has already happened once in January 2010 bill. I had to pay 100 bucks extra in January and it may be 200 bucks in May bill. So I was awaiting the May bill to complain to BSNL. But no bill yet

Just go to Billing center and there by providing your ID they can tell you your bill.

update: today I got bill for May 2010 and I am pleasantly surprised to find that BSNL did some calculations and adjusted the billing amount and so there is no problem in May bill. Atleast I dont have to run around their offices
