My apologies for repeating the question if already answered.

I am using a huawei WA1003A router. And it worked fine for almost a year, since last DEC I stopped using it for consecutive three weeks, and after that I started giving me Error 691. I contacted BSNL. They restored my password and the problem remains. I tried using my friends account (He stays nearby) and was successfully logging in to the net. I asked my friend to use my account from his residence and he also did fine. After this I made several complains and docketing with BSNL but still of no use.

I have gone through the System Log of the modem and found out that it is having a CHAP Authentication failure, but this is only for faulty user name or password.

Has anybody faced anything like this. Please through some light into it if you can.
