Default Huawei Modem not working for sometimes during power failure

I have a Huawei (Smart AX MT 841) modem. Just after the power failure, it disconnects the internet service and again restores it automatically after 2 min. I have not sure whether it is the problem of my UPS. But the model power lite is on all the time. The model has PPPOE connection with all the password preset. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Try a different adapter and check.

My router, Huawei SmartAX MT882 also reboots if there is a power failure. This happens even if it is running of our inverter or APC UPS. The comp never reboots, but the router invariably reboots. Apparently the switch over time is good enough for the PC but not for this router.

Don't know if this happens with routers/modems of other makes.

I've had this problem since the time i got my MT882.

Even a voltage fluctuation causes my UPS to stabilize the current but even that small change causes my MT 882 to switch off and on. And then when it switches on, it won't connect to the LAN. I need to reboot the whole comp

    Modem Huawei AX MT882
When modem disconnects access 192.168.1.1 etc
    and see the summary page.

    Feedback.
If the power adapter used is 12V D.C output, without using the adapter, you can connect the Modem directly to the UPS battery
using a different cable with Banana plugs for Battery and D.C plug for modem .

Not possible to connect directly as the adapter is 9V, 1000 mA.

    same solution! Post No 5.
If the UPS transient time is 24 milliseconds and above, modem will fail.
Instead of using the Power Adapter, try giving supply Direct from the Battery to modem MT882.
( Confirm Power Adapter is AC~ or D.C=
Marked power output 9V or 12V

or try a new SMPS small adapters rated for 9V/12V 1 amp. D.C

Used to happen to me when I used the huwaei modem.

I changed to a d-link modem and never faced the problem since.
