Thread: Can't connect to 192.168.1.1

I have DNA-A-211-I Modem/Router and I want to establish a wifi network so that I can connect my samsung star wifi with it...
But when i try to configure the wifi settings by going to the above mentioned ip address , i am not redirected to it and a message appears on browser explaining the error connecting to it....
I need help regarding this prob and i hope i will get it

start RUn type cmd
Ok
New window
type ipconfig /all

this will appear normally
192.168.1. X
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.x( your router gateway)
or
if you are connected to internet

check your Ip here.
http://www.whatismyip.com/
then retype it in address bar.
a window should open to access modem/router settings.
http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...no-access.html (192.168.1.1 No access !)

are you using any proxy in your browser if yes disable it !

Best is to press the reset button on the backside of the modem and then it will start working.

I just changed some settings in my lan settings including default gateway preffered dns and then i was able to reach 198.162.1.1
but now i am facing problem connecting my handset to this wi-fi network

is there anything like i can't access wifi on my mobile and net on my pc simultaneously??

You must enable DHCP service in modem.

Reset your modem by pressing reset key on back , i have faced this problem already and i went to BSNL Exchange they reset my modem by pressing the reset key. Give me reply please ...
