Thread: Connect samsung star to wifi.....

Does anyone here has any idea rgarding how to connect a samsung star wifi handset with a DNA-A211-I adsl2+ modem with bsnl connection?

Does the phone detect the modem?

If so, please enter the default gateway IP address on the phone. Quite often, it is set at Auto and the IP address will not be assigned.

Just go to your mobile Wifi option and search for netwoks and select your 1 and enter the key and connect to it. Change your mode form Bridge to PPPoE and start surfing in your mobile.

Yes, my mobile detects the modem; even sometimes i am able to connect and the mobile shows signal strength as if it is connected but when i try to surf the net , nothing loads and after sometime it says "DNA failed"....
what to do?????

In your modem/router enable DHCP. give a range say192.168.1.3 to say 192.168.1.10
Also enable UPnP box if available.
in computer :
Networks
LAn WLAn
Properties
Network settings page.
disable IPV6
Select tcp/ip
properties
obtain Ip address automatically.
Now check .
