    As far as I know, there are no plan change charges. You can change as many times as you wish. I have done this a few times myself. Any such charge has to be mentioned on the website.

    If the money is charged you can complain and get a refund.

    @ideaguy
    Check in BSNL Portal with Usage portalID and PW
    your usage till ( excluding NU). Only 50% of 500C plan allowed.
    ( Chargeable units at top ) say P.
    quota for 15 days say Q
    Formula for chargeable units; P minus Q = "R"
    R in MB multiplied by S ( S= paise per MB)
    excess usage charges R*S= paise divided by 100 = Rs _____
    ( Rent also will be 50% of monthly Rate for Home 500 plans)
    Hope usage from 16th shows 0 bytes.
    More details about additional security deposit etc. see Bsnl links or usage link given below.

    Para two : As mentioned above NO CHARGES for Plan change/s

    @essbebe
    Thanx bro...the info was very detailed...
    i had used 90% of the Home 500 bandwith before my plan changed...
    so its safe to assume i will be charged for the 35-40% bandwith..
    also ur right...there are no plan change charges...i chkd with the exchange...only one month rental as deposit that too if you are shifting frm lower to higher plan...
