Thread: Broadband from any pc with nokia-siemens sl2-141

I have recently switched to this new modem from nokia siemens. I have successfully connected my pc to internet through this modem by visiting guidelines from the bsnl website. But my problem is that I need to connect my daughter's pc to this connection also, so that either of us can use the same connection or even share both at a time. I have connected both my pc and my daughter's pc to the ports of the modem in lan1 and lan2 respectively. From my pc I can access internet, but cannot do so from my daughter's pc. Is there any tweaking of the tcp/ip required?

Can you please help me by providing your expert opinion so that I can configure both the pcs as required.

I also intend to use the wlan for my laptop.(not yet connected). Your valuable comments in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Enable DHCP in modem router.
IN TCp/Ip properties
select obtain Ip address automatically.
