Default Frequent disconnect with AR800V v3.0 wireless

Hi All,

Recently i opted for wireless router and i got AR800v v 3.0 modem..

On the bottom of the router i found these details:

Supplier : Syrma technology pvt ltd
Manufacturer : Fujian star-net communication co.ltd
Model Name: Type-II modem
Model No: AR800V v3.0

The problem is : The connection always disconnects..If i connect the DSL cable to wired router connection is good....

Why it is happening?

Do you mean to say that there is disconnection in wifi but working fine in wired connection ?

Check your splitter. Make sure all connections come after splitter.

Bypass the splitter and connect directly to the modem and try.

How good is your signal strength ? Place the modem / laptop at a position were you can get maximum signal strength.

1. Disable any encryption you are using and try.

2. Start > run > cmd > ipconfig/all, post the data for both desktop and laptop.

@deter_dangler
The unit is similar to C2110 ( less wifi) and teracom wifi models.

Always try the SEARCH Box above for old threads.
In this thread the modem AR800V has been fully "thrashed "!!!
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...working-2.html (AR 800 V v 3.0 wifi not working)

Para two :
Disable IPV6 in network settings page.
In Ipconfig /all tunnel data not required.
Recheck modem wifi settings.

Default Imran khan have solution ar800 v3.0

Yes i too had the same problem...? nearly for a month and found a solution to it.
this problem cause because you use modem for so longtime more than five hours a day...

(this solution is given to you reduces usage and overload of modem and you may use your cpu to help the router to connect to Internet)

1.open your default browser..(google chrome not recommended)
2.type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar
3. Enter user name as admin.password:admin
4.click configuration in the left side frame.
5.select Internet connection.
6.click add .
7.Do the following:
PVC name: bsnl
VPI :0
VCI :35
service category :UBR with PCR
Peak cell rate :8000
8.Click Next.
Configration type :Bridging
9.click Next
10.click Next
11.click Apply.

Now the setting up of modem is over...
switch off you modem and turn on after a minute..

when dsl switches on.

1.goto internet explorer .
2.tools --> internet options..
3.in the Connections Tab. Click setup..
4.New connections wizard appears...
5.click next
6.select connect to the internet. click next.
7.select set up my connection manually.click next.
8.click connect to broadband that require user name and password.click next
9. ISP name as BSNL_AP.
10.In this step you have to be very careful.

type user name:id<your std code without '0'><your landline number>_scdrid
For example: your std code 04373 your telephone number 12345678..
User name:id437312345678_scdrid

You can specify your own password here. But be careful dont forget you password..
11.click next
12.dont forget to create shortcut on your desktop..

Internet led dont switch on because it now you cpu is acting as modem and takes care of internet connection .Modem just monitors your dsl connection.

Now you can connect to internet every time by selecting the BSNL_AP shortcut icon on your desktop. type user name :id.........scdrid password:.......... click connect

KNOW THAT SYRMA MODEM IS JUST A TRASH... BUT WITH ABOVE SOLUTION IT WORKS FINE

also know that there is the excellent connection between modem and computer. But syrma(trash) modem cant able to establish connection to dsl and internet.

Me too using the same modem. I did not got any CD with it. It is news to me that they are providing USB drivers too. When one of our member enquired, BSNL reported that there is no USB cable or USB driver supplied with the modem.

Please Wait for response from @meetdilip

@ meetdilip
USB drivers posted now in Calcutta telephones web site for teracom model. ( teracom similar to C2110 + addl WIFI)
But company says USB PORT not provisioned as per BSNl tender contract. For "future use" BSNL CC Chennai confirmed this to me.
some user reported OS does not detect New hardware.
another user reported USB port is working.( for Teracom model )
About this "Syra" model , you may use same USB drivers and try.

Feedback.

1.
Delete your email address to avoid spam mail.
2.
Check the link Teracom given below for router settings.

3.
Also check Calcutta telephones web site for unit with similar menu pages.
http://www.calcutta.bsnl.co.in/dataoneinstall/mu12.html
4.
If the laptop has Ethernet port try LAN connection ( RJ45 cable ) and confirm.

Para two :
Still problem copy/paste following data.
Procedure :
In your computer
Start run type cmd Ok

1. Which mode are you in ? Configure you modem in PPPoE. Check whether you can connect through ethernet cable.

2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

3. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection, set " Obtain IP address automatically".

how can i configure this AR800v v 3.0
1.
Presume you did not opt for a modem from Reliance.
2.
VPI/VCI is same as for BSNL 0 and 35 ( confirm)
3a.
Check C2110 modem settings from links below or "Teracom"
( Calcutta Telephones site ) for "Bridged" or "MER"mode
Select DNS as auto configure.
Save reboot.
OR
3b
RESET modem/router to factory settings.

4. Open Dialer and log in to Reliance with
given ID and PW.
5.
If connected copy/paste this data here. No edit.
( only ethernet data)
Start RUN type cmd
OK
New window
type ipconfig /all
6.
If you need to connect in WIFI mode select "MER"
option in wan page.

sample page:Firmware version/s may be different.
http://www.indiabroadband.net/attach...s-untitled.jpg
All new wifi routers appear to be similar to teracom model
listed in Bsnl Calcutta Telephones web site.
&Siemens C2110 modem ( NO wifi ) plus new menu pages for wifi VOIP etc.
