    Question So many disconnections frequently! help pls

    hi, i am facing lots of disconnection from my bsnl broadband connection.. it gets disconnected frequesntly and when i troubleshoot the problem ( windows 7) it will get fixed .. but this i should do every 10 minutes.. Am using wireless type 2 modem ( AR800V v3.0)

    Any help would be appreciated..

    please delete insert and make a smaller size.
    Try Mod mode Gdmt.
    Post ipconfig /all
    Your model Ar800v is same as teracom
    check the link given below for user manual etc.

    1. Enter the values in TCP/IP properties as

    IP : 192.168.1.10

    Default gateway : 192.168.1.1

    Sub net mask : 255.255.255.0


    2. Post your snr and attenuation values.

    hello sir, could you please guide me in steps how to do change tat default gateway , sub net mask and also how to get snr and attenuation values..

    Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser. ID and password is admin. Browse through the pages to find the values.

    thanks for explaining sir, i did all the things u said about and here are the attenuation values

    DSL Status Connected
    Downstream Data Rate 1997200
    Upstream Data Rate 494600
    SNR (Downstream) 20.40 dB
    SNR (Upstream) 25.0 dB
    Line Attentuation(Downstream) 54.0 dB
    Line Attentuation(Upstream) 16.5 dB

    must reduce.
    Try GDMT mod mode. Appearsin your modem ADSL2 + mode.is selected.
    Uncheck this box in menu item "DSL" SAVE Reboot wait 2 minutes.
    Recheck snr and attn .

    Change here to GDMT if adsl2 + is seen.

    no other changes. Applt Reboot wait for 1 or 2 minutes.
    Recheck snr attn. Any improvement?

    @ essbebe

    Where can i find GDMT and ADSL2 + ( is it displayed under 192.168.1.1 or from start menu?)

    if its under modem setting.. it would be helpfull if u provide some steps .. and i have connected my computer through cable not wireless connection.. thanks

    SNR (Upstream) 25.0 dB
    Line Attentuation(Downstream) 54.5 dB
    Line Attentuation(Upstream) 28.0 dB

    same even after selecting G.Dmt from AnnexA Port Attribute List
