Thread: Configure Windows Phone dialler or FAX in ADSL connection

I have BSNL Broadband connection Home-250 (ADSL/ T1) via ADSL modem (Type - I) through Ethernet/ USB compatable up to @ 56Mbps connection. I have also one PCI analog dial-up modem (Internal) compatible for Data, Voice, and FAX @ 56Kbps. I want to know how to configure and connect both the modems to establish Windows Phone dialler, Fax and PC answering machine software etc. along with ADSL connection. I was trying to connect both through an ADSL splitter/ filter but a hues amount of noise comes in telephone line that unable me to use Phones and Fax. Is there any other method (Hardware/ Software) that to utilise both ADSL & analogue facility?

I dont see any reason why you shouldnt be able to use the analogue side of the copper simultaniously.
The only thing that comes to my mind is that the splitter you are using isint working very well try borrowing one from some one and check if the noice is still there and if that doesnt work call customer care to check the noise in your line (they dont have to come to your place to do that,they can check it in real time form thier end and should be able to tell you on the spot if there is something wrong)
I would also suggest cleaning any joints you have at your premisis,may be removbe all joints if possible coz thats one major cause of noise and connection dropping some times.
