Thumbs down Time to fill the form ??!!!

So its almost 25th and no hope of getting 1MBPS on UL1350 plan ........

So is it time to fill the form and switch back to UL 750 and save our hard earned 600Rs. every month ?

Definitely i see 99% users on UL 1350 will switch to UL 750 unless they have reasons to throw away 600Rs. extra every month

So is there any news that we might get 1MBPS on UL 1350 ???

And if we change the plan , does BSNL charge for the hard work they do to change plan for a user ??

Many users may think like you. There is certainly an increase in speed UL 1350+ plan.

2 Mbps upto 15 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 15 GB

that is almost equal to null , atleast for torrent users

It would take me just a day to use that 15GB at 2MBPS speed

so the rest of 29 days i get 512kbps

You have waited for a month just like me, just wait for a week until your speed increases to 2 mbps, download as much as you can (i.e 15gb) and then apply for change in plan, that is what I am going to do, I am just so frustrated that I have to wait in hope for plan change for a month and still have to pay 600 bucks for this month for this torture, I want to get my revenge/my moneys worth, that is why going to wait for a week to download 15 gb @ 2mbps and then apply for plan change.

Also I inquired in BSNL office and they told me that we can apply for plan change at any time, and our plan gets changed within 4-5days also billing for new plan starts the same day plan is changed so we don't have to wait for a month to change plan.

For heavy downloaders such as torrent users or rapidshare users, going to UL1350 with FUP will be of no benefit. Yes, you will exhaust your limit - perhaps in one day itself.

For such users, you have the following options:

    a) Switch to UL750+, pay less but enjoy constant speed throughout the month.
    b) Switch to Combo FFN 600 (Home 500C+) and stick to downloads from 2 AM to 8 AM.
    c) If you have the option, switch to other provider that has no FUP (for instance Reliance has no FUP at least for the time being).

UL 750 has recently been the centre of attention. Everybody wants to move to it. Hope BSNL will benefit from this. But Airtel has already did this a month ago. Better late than never.

No charges for change of tariff plan.
you may get credit for difference in security deposit 1 month paid for Ul1350 to Ul 750.

No plan change charges. In fact, you may ask for refund of extra Rs. 600 which is charged from you as one month advance for UL 1350.
