    Default Frequent Disconnection Of Broadband.

    My Broadband Line keeps dropping,

i.e The router gets connected and then after a few minutes or sometimes immediatly, the ADSL Light blinks rapidly for a few seconds and then goes off and then again getts re-connected,

In short the line keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, sometimes the ADSL light does not glow at all,

    My SNR and Attenuation Rates:-

    Code:
    noise margin downstream: 25 db
    output power upstream: 20 db
    attenuation downstream: 23 db
    Code:
    noise margin upstream: 13 db
    output power downstream: 11 db
    attenuation upstream: 0 db

I have also tried different routers,

Since the SNR value is good, the mode is in ADSL2+, could there be a problem with the Splitter? Should the MTU value be reduced?

If there have been rains recently at your place it may be because of that. Same thing happened to me four days back and when rain stopped the problem got solved, also as your SNR margin is ok the problem may be with the adsl port at the exchange. My friend had same problem couple of months ago for about a week and when he complained they change his port from exchange side, now he does not have any problem.

In any case adsl line problem can be only solved by bsnl side, you cannot do any thing about it, contact your area linemen or place a complaint at bsnl office.

There have been no rains recently and the people at BSNL say they normally don't change the port,

I changed the ADSL mode to G.DMT and my values have improved,

    Code:
    noise margin downstream: 36 db
    output power upstream: 19 db
    attenuation downstream: 25 db
    For now there's no problems,

Is there any way I can test my line for stability to see if it disconnects under high loads?

    @rajuwaste
    Which modem you are using Ut300r2u ( new model)or Beetel 450BX 450BXI ?
( except for WIFI settings both are identical )
In DSl menu page uncheck Adsl2+ and recheck SNR attn.

    @essbebe,

My router is in G.DMT mode, SNR is 37dB and Attenuation is 23dB,

Still the line drops(gets disconnected and then reconnects) after around 10mins of downloading, and sometimes while only browsing,

I'm unable to download anything at all from Rapidshare etc,

    Please help me

Compare your SNR and attenuation values. You may need to fix your line

    Ok, problem solved,

Lineman changed the entire cable from my house to the pole,

But now when I just press the Startbutton in uTorrent the router just immediatly hangs, all the LEDs glow but no website opens and uTorrent downloads at very low speeds(2-3kbps) and uploads at high speeds.

I have disabled DHT, reduced number of connections etc., but the problem persists.

Try a different torrent client and check. You may try Vuze.

    Code:
    noise margin downstream: 41 db
    output power upstream: 19 db
    attenuation downstream: 21 db
    Mode is G.DMT,

Same problem in Vuze and also Deluge,

Torrent client has proper settings(like Max no. of connections, upload speed etc.) in accordance with my bandwidth,

Also I cannot upgrade the firmware of my router(Zyxel P660-R-T1) as its firmware is locked.

Check your speed ( with all applications disabled) here.
and make a record for different times. and when some applications are active like Torrents.
My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester

    2.
    try tp optimiser from speedguide.net.
    3.
firmware of my router(Zyxel P660-R-T1) as its firmware is locked.
Not clear. ( any way not required)
you have posted snr data , which means you can access modem settings.
